Trish Hodson

Access & Inclusivity Matters

I qualified on the VocalEyes: Audio Description for live theatre training course in 2019. I co-described & Juliet at The Shaftesbury, London in March 2020. Over the last year I have been writing AD scripts for films, documentaries and series for Iyuno SDI, having been recruited and trained by Veronika Hyks. I am available for all types of audio description work, whether live, remotely delivered, or recorded.

I also deliver Everyday Accessibility training to arts, leisure and community organisations. My training is based on my 23 year career as an Access Officer in a large commercial theatre. It focuses on embedding inclusive customer service for a broad range of access requirements and across departments. Additional workshops focus on Front of House and customer-facing teams, and how to set-up and successfully deliver assisted performances.
