151 - Disabled Access Day, 12 March 2016. Get out and try something new is the message for Disabled Access Day. Sponsored by Euan's Guide, the Edinburgh-based listing and review site for disabled people and their families, last January's pilot saw 261 venues taking part. The website features Nottingham's Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall as a model of good practice.
152 - Growing Audiences for Audio Description. ADA's National Conference will investigate why people with sight loss choose to visit theatres, museums and galleries (or not) and what venues can do to encourage attendance at audio described events.
153 - RNIB Conference on Audio Description: follow up. RNIB hosted a day of brainstorming and exchanging ideas on the development of audio description on 23 September at the Science Museum in London. A summary of the event can be found on their website. Podcasts from the event are also available on the webpage.
154 - First AD of live theatre screening: follow up
155 - Into Flm Festival, 4-20 November. 600+ live screenings free to schools and young people across the UK.
